New Rideshare Service from Metro

 

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has launched Metro Micro, a new on-demand rideshare service offering trips within seven service areas in Los Angeles County including:

1) Watts/Willowbrook
2) Inglewood/LAX
3) El Monte
4) Compton/Artesia
5) North Hollywood/Burbank
6) Highland Park/Eagle Rock/Glendale
7) Altadena/Pasadena/Sierra Madre

Two additional zones are launching later this year.

The new service uses small vehicles (seating up to 10 passengers) for short, local trips around town. The first two rides on Metro Micro are free. Rides cost $1 per trip afterward.
